Wonderland:  Alice's Epic Adventure

Our 4th grade GT students were able to get all dressed up and attend the ballet!  This multimedia-infused production featured dynamic projection and 360 sound, elaborate costumes and sets, and world premiere choreography, and was filled with humor and hijinks.

Leaf Pattern Design

The varied cultures of our world inspired our GT students.  Students in grades 2-4 took the 2023-2024 GT theme of "It's OUR small world after all" and studied the cultures from around the world with the help of Mrs. Maria Marta Villegas with the Arts in Education program.

While working on our Social/Emotional process skills,
our 2nd - 4th grade GT students chose to create designs to present to the area nursing homes in December.  By taking on the responsibility of creating enough products for each resident in 3 locations, the students increased their skills in leadership.  They showed commitment and follow-through.  Their interpersonal skills were strengthened by demonstrating independent actions and modeling trustworthiness with varied supplies and resources.  It was a great community service project that was equally rewarding for our students and the recipients of their projects.
